Diane and her husband, Neal have authored of a new book entitled: "Take Heart". This books covers two very important topics related to families – God’s plan for restoring our identities and our inheritance.  These topics form an important spiritual foundation for building healthy family life.  The identity of many people have been greatly impacted by rampant fatherlessness.  If we don’t know our earthly fathers as good it is often difficult to have a secure relationship with our heavenly Father.  We need healing in our emotions and spirits to walk in wholeness in every aspect of our lives. Without wholeness we can form unhealthy relationship habits.  As a result, people often struggle with roots of shame and the fear of rejection by those in close relationship with us. Secure attachments are the antidote to this fear and shame. The ultimate place of security is to be attached to our Heavenly Father. This book outlines how we build and maintain healthy relationships so we can walk fully in the identity of who God created us to be.

The heart of our Heavenly Father is reconciliation and restoration.  Our book’s title Take Heart – is taken from the scripture versus found in John 16:33  “I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world."  It is He who overcame and because He overcame and we are to put our confidence in Him even when our circumstances look horribly out of control.
